At this time smoke gray is our only shade, a mirror finish is in development.

Can Sun Spots™ be used on both sides of the lens?
Sun Spots™ are static cling treated on both sides, allowing them to be used on either side, (inside or out) and either lens (left or right), universally.

How do Sun Spots™ adhere to my lenses?
Static Cling technology allows Sun Spots™ to bond to the surface of your eyeglass lenses. Sun Spots™ shape exactly to the curvature of your eyeglass lens. They may be applied to the interior or exterior of your lens.

How can I be sure they'll fit?
The enclosed instructions take you through an easy 8 step process to create Sun Spots™ that custom fit to your eyeglasses.

What if my prescription changes?
Sun Spots™ are dependent on your lens shape, as long as they stay constant Sun Spots™ will continue to fit.

Where do I keep Sun Spots™ when not in use?
Sun Spots™ should be kept flat in the specially designed carrying case provided. This case is the size of a credit card and can be carried in your wallet, purse or pocket.

Can Sun Spots™ be reused?
Yes, Sun Spots™ can be reapplied to your eyeglasses over and over. Occasional cleaning with a dishwashing liquid and rinsed with clear water removes any dirt and restores the static cling.

How long will Sun Spots™ last?
As a revolutionary new product it is unknown precisely how long they may last. The original set has been in frequent use since October 1, 1998. It is expected that they will last longer than the 2 year average span for eyeglasses.

Can Sun Spots™ be cleaned?
Sun Spots™ will accumulate small particles and deposits from your lens. Occasional cleaning with a dishwashing liquid and rinsed with clear water. This will remove dirt and restore the static cling nature.

Do Sun Spots™ scratch?
Sun Spots™ are hard yet flexible. They can be torn or scratched if bruised with a hard or sharp object.

When and where can I wear Sun Spots™?

Are Sun Spots™ polarized?
At this time polarization technology requires horizontally parallel application, not a task a casual application is likely to accomplish.
